H42X flange bottom valve is also called water pump bottom valve. It is generally installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the water pump to restrict the liquid in the water pump pipe from returning to the water source. There are many water inlets and stiffeners on the valve cover to prevent clogging. The main function is to install at the bottom of the pump to prevent the backflow of water.
Application range:
The bottom valve has a reasonable design and is convenient for installation, use, and maintenance. And has the advantages of low friction resistance, long service life, energy-saving, etc., and is widely used in water pump supporting facilities in petrochemical, chemical, textile, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, mining, drainage, and irrigation industries.
Structure and principle:
The bottom valve is composed of the valve body, valve disc, valve cover, bushing, sealing ring, and other parts. For details, see the figure below. The water from the water source enters the valve body from the valve cover. Under the action of the fluid pressure, the valve flap opens the water. When the indicator stops, the pressure in the outlet pipe closes the valve flap quickly. The liquid will not be poured back to the water source, which plays the role of smooth pumping and saving water energy loss.
